Schedule/Shift
Day Shift: 07:00-19:00, 36 hours per week.
Job Description
The position involves providing care for medical-surgical patients within a comprehensive healthcare setting. You will work in a well-equipped unit with a focus on maintaining high-quality patient safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to a patient population with diverse medical needs.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the supervisor.
- Start IVs, insert Foley catheters, and insert NG tubes as needed.
- Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
