ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Acute Care Float (Day Shift) in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shifts are from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break, for a total of 12 hours. Registered Nurses are expected to work every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse, Acute Care Float will be responsible for providing excellent patient care across multiple units, including but not limited to medical comfort care, surgery and GI, trauma, oncology, and nephrology. The role includes the use of Cerner EMR and requires the ability to adapt to different patient care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in various acute care settings.
• Document patient information and care using Cerner EMR.
• Float to different units as assigned by nursing supervisor based on patient needs.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital.
• Must have CN or multi-state RN license active and unencumbered.
• Cerner EMR experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Active Tennessee RN license or multi-state license is mandatory.
