Job Description
The Medical-Surgical unit at LewisGale Medical Center consists of 36 beds and is supported by a dedicated team of 55 employees. The unit specializes in the care of post-operative patients, wound care, and drain management. You will be working with essential equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs, and using Meditech as the electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Care for post-operative patients.
- Maintain drains as necessary.
- Perform wound care and dressing changes.
Required Experience
- Must have BLS certification.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid RN license required.
