Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient and family support and nursing care within their full scope of practice. Responsibilities will include participation in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and services intended for patients, families, and the community. The RN will focus on the observation, data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patients' physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs guided by an individualized and ongoing plan of care. This role involves close collaboration as a member of the interdisciplinary team within a unit that primarily handles surgical patients, such as joint replacements, hip fractures, open abdominal surgeries, and neck and back surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans.
• Monitor and document patient condition and progress.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Charge nurse experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Completion of required vaccinations including MMR, Influenza Vaccine, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap.
• TB Test results and Fit Test documentation.
