Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will be responsible for providing quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse will work with Med-Surg/Telemetry patients as well as those recovering from cardiac procedures, including post-cath recovery. Familiarity with cardiac drips is essential for this position.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
- Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips.
- Assist in the recovery of post-cath patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Required Experience
- Candidate must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry is required.
- Proven experience handling cardiac drips and post-cath recovery cases.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
