Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Will work every other weekend.

Job Description

Join the dynamic team at our Critical Care Step-Down unit, where you will provide comprehensive care for patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions. This unit accommodates 22 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. You will utilize the Meditech system to maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. The patient population primarily includes adults aged 18 and up who are experiencing various critical and post-operative conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings in Meditech.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, with specific experience in cardiac and pulmonary care preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Required certifications include ACLS and BLS.
