ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics (Night Shift) in Marquette, Michigan.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires a Night Shift, working from 19:00 to 07:00, with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours. There are weekend requirements of 3 weekends every 6 weeks.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work within a specialty care unit that includes Neuro, Ortho, and Pediatrics. The unit has a total of 24 beds, and patient ratios average 1:6. The Registered Nurse (RN) will care for all ages over 28 days, managing trauma and post-operative Ortho/Neuro patients as well as supporting the general Pediatric Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the Neuro, Ortho, and Pediatric specialties.
• Assist in trauma cases and manage postoperative care for orthopedic and neurological patients.
• Document patient care and clinical observations in the EHR system (Paragon transitioning to Cerner).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required, with at least 2 years in adult nursing preferred. Experience in Pediatrics is also highly valued.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is preferred.
