Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical unit, you will provide high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art hospital setting. You will work with a diverse patient population, handling various medical and surgical needs, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education throughout their stay. Your role will involve monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, documenting changes as necessary.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
Required Experience
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
