ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Neuro (Night Shift) in Charleston, South Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
3x12 hour Night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend requirement of 4-5 shifts per 4-week period and holiday rotation.
Job Description
The position is in the 9 West unit, a 23-bed inpatient General Neurology/Medical Stroke/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. This unit caters to adult and geriatric patients with conditions such as Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, seizures, and strokes. The registered nurse will also handle medical stroke patients and may float to support other sister units, particularly for overflow of neurosurgical and spine surgery patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to neuro patients, managing medications and treatments.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and neurological status.
- Assist with continuous epilepsy monitoring as needed.
- Support comprehensive spine and epilepsy center programs.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a neuro or medical-surgical setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active South Carolina or Multi-State Compact RN license required.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
