ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Day Shift) in Gadsden, Alabama.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical unit. The RN will assess patient conditions, develop care plans, administer medications, and maintain accurate records using the Cerner documentation system.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and evaluations of patient conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Must hold a Compact or Alabama RN license with no NURSYS hits.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
