Job Description
The Medical-Surgical unit at Centennial Medical Center features 33 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1. The team is comprised of charge nurses, registered nurses, technicians, and secretaries, providing a supportive work environment. The unit utilizes Meditechs as its documentation system.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients in a medical-surgical setting, following established protocols and standards.
- Maintain whiteboards with current patient information for improved patient experience.
- Participate in patient care rounds and interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Assist with various procedures related to medical-surgical care.
Required Experience
Basic medical-surgical knowledge is required with the ability to perform advanced skills related to patient care.
Certifications/Licensure
No specific certifications are required for this position.
