12-hour shifts - Days (06:45 AM to 07:15 PM) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will float between various medical and surgical units, providing care for a diverse patient population. The role requires familiarity with Meditech EMR, Pyxis for medication distribution, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical and surgical units.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
- Participate in unit-specific training and orientation programs.
Required Experience
2-10 years of nursing experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Hawaii RN license is required upon acceptance of offer.
- BLS certification needed.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are also preferred.
