Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend hours are as needed.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care within a Medical Surgical unit. The facility features 48 beds and aims to maintain a patient ratio of 1:6. Duties include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, performing routine assessments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Start IVs and insert foley catheters and NG tubes.
- Perform EKGs and manage heparin drips.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff for coordinated patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, including at least 1 travel assignment.
Certifications/Licensure
- NIHSS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
