This role requires a Day Shift from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Description
The role involves providing care in a clinic setting with a focus on gynecologic oncology. The clinic serves a patient population with high needs but overall low volume, seeing between 30-40 patients daily. As an RN, you will be responsible for triaging medication reactions, assessing possible concerning surgical outcomes, and addressing symptoms of potential recurrence. You will also provide pre/post-operative education and assessments, ensuring patients navigate their treatment safely.
Responsibilities
- Triage concerns via phone and EPIC messaging
- Conduct pre and post-operative education and assessments
- Monitor patients through their treatment courses
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, Triage, OBGYN, or Oncology
- Experience with voiding trials and central line flushes is a plus
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Active RN license in Washington or compact license
