This position requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with no call and no floating required.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, managing patient workloads with a ratio of 6:1. The RN will utilize the MEDHOST electronic medical records system and must have experience working in Mississippi.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform assessments, documentation, and medication administration as per protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Travel experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN License in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
- Must have titers in hand at the time of submission.
