Job Description

The Med/Surg nurse is a self-motivated professional registered nurse and a resource person accountable for planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. The Registered Nurse is expected to have knowledge relative to the ages served and will deliver care in a dynamic medical-surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient care and responses to treatment.
• Adapt care based on assessment of patient needs.

Required Experience

Prior experience in a medical-surgical unit is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current RN license is required.
