Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg unit, which specializes in orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health. The facility is equipped with 154 beds and aims to deliver comprehensive support to adult and geriatric populations. The RN will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, documenting care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to arrange for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license to practice in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
