Job Description
The Medical/Surgical Nursing Manager is responsible for supervising patient care, nursing staff, and Medical/Surgical operations. This role requires collaboration with the Leadership team to enhance clinical operations, facilitate staff development, manage resources effectively, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and patient care to ensure high-quality services.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to optimize clinical operations.
- Facilitate staff development through training and mentoring programs.
- Manage nursing resources and ensure effective utilization.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives for the Medical/Surgical unit.
Required Experience
- Demonstrated expertise in nursing and management experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
