Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and clinical skills, document patient progress accurately, and ensure patient satisfaction while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities include assessing patients across the lifespan, providing competent nursing care, maintaining thorough documentation, and educating patients and their families about procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough and accurate patient assessments.
- Deliver competent and appropriate nursing care to patients on the unit.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation in patient charts.
- Demonstrate professional accountability and understanding of policies and procedures.
- Respond to patients and families in a professional and courteous manner.
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals and ensure safe transfer techniques.
- Individualize patient care based on specific procedures and anesthesia types.
- Contribute to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care needs.
- Assess patients' understanding and provide pre-operative and post-operative education.
- Support timely completion of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.
Required Experience
Candidate must have experience in caring for patients in a medical-surgical environment and knowledge of surgical procedures.
Certifications / Licensure
Current RN license required.
