Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient position in an oncology clinic. This role involves performing six infusions and 1-2 port draws daily. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps. Prior outpatient oncology and infusion experience is required. Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients during infusions.
- Conduct port draws and manage central lines.
- Provide education and support to patients undergoing treatment.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
Required Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion setting is required.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS certification.
- Oncology certification (ONCC or ONS) is required.
- Valid state nursing license (compact license must be in hand at submission).
