Registered Nurse Med-Surg Float

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, alternating between 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking 2 RN Med-Surg Float positions to join our team. The successful candidates will report to the Director of the Internal Resource Team and will float between all Med-Surg departments, excluding CCU, psychiatric care, and rehabilitation. This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility and adaptability in providing care across various patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med-Surg setting.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient health outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Manage IVs, blood products, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• NC state or Compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of med-surg experience required.
• Candidates must demonstrate skills in various nursing interventions and patient care protocols.
