Travel RN - Med/Surg - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel RN for our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care while managing multiple responsibilities on the night shift. This energetic unit welcomes new teammates who thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for post-op surgical patients, including administration of medications and monitoring of vital signs.
• Manage cardiac drips such as amiodarone and diltiazem, as well as heparin drips.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Meditech EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current Med/Surg RN acute care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is a plus.
