Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Description

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care on a general medical-surgical unit, caring for adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses. The nurse will work to maintain high standards of care and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Manage and monitor telemetry for patients.
• Provide care for patients with chronic and acute medical conditions.
• Assist in rapid response situations and management of patient crises.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate patient records using Epic.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
