Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Positions available for 36 and 48 hours per week, with the requirement of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

The RN will deliver high-quality patient care in a 43-bed Cardiac Med/Tele unit. The candidate must be adaptable to the facility's scheduling needs and may be required to float to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Cardiac Med/Tele setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Document patient information using EPIC charting system.
• Participate in charge nurse duties with training provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience, including 1 recent year in med-surg/tele.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• For non-U.S. candidates, a minimum of 2 years of documented U.S. work history is required.
