Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours per week available, with a requirement of working 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must be available to work at least 1 holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

This position involves providing care in a 43-bed Cardiac Med/Tele unit. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac medical and telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage IV therapies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information and care in the EPIC system.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Required Experience and Certifications

• 2 years of acute hospital experience, including 1 recent year in med surg/tele.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
