Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on Medical/Surgical nursing for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and will possess strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6.
• Perform typical procedures including wound care, CIWA assessment, and heparin drips.
• Utilize equipment such as wound vacs, kangaroo pumps, and telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Med/Surg experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Preferred experience with managing at least 6 patients.
• Strong time management skills are necessary.
