Schedule

Shift: 7p-7a (with weekends required every other week at a minimum)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, delegating, and coordinating nursing care for assigned patients throughout the scheduled shift. This role involves collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient care is delivered effectively and in accordance with established standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments to identify actual and potential needs/problems.
• Develop and organize prioritized plans of care.
• Supervise and delegate patient care assignments to nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses.
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient/family responses accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Maintain a safe working and patient environment by adhering to infection control and safety policies.
• Receive and evaluate physician orders and ensure they are executed properly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MUST HAVE CURRENT STATE LICENSE as a Registered Nurse.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to float to all med/surg floors as needed.
