Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry/Stepdown - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with every other weekend required. No call requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Comprehensive Medical Unit. The RN will work primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and may float between various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR and possess significant telemetry or step-down experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit and stepdown settings.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, understand telemetry readings, and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of recent telemetry and/or stepdown experience.
• Active RN license and current BLS certification required.
• Current Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory.
