Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a versatile nurse who can provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgery and other medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the Med Surg unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and record observations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and post-hospitalization strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be pending upon hire).
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Permanent address must be located 50+ miles from the facility.
