Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) with a strong clinical background to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing care for adult women of childbearing age. The unit consists of 7 labor beds, 3 triage rooms, 2 PACU, and 16 mother-baby rooms, ensuring an engaging and fast-paced work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Assist with high-risk deliveries and manage various labor and delivery procedures.
• Provide support for lactation and breastfeeding.
• Administer medications, including antihypertensives and magnesium sulfate therapy.
• Monitor fetal signs and conduct assessments throughout labor and delivery.
• Engage in discharge teaching and provide postpartum care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
• AWHONN Intermediate preferred
