Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The RN will provide comprehensive care for expectant mothers and newborns, ensuring the safety and well-being of both during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess labor patients and provide support during labor and delivery.
• Deliver care for mother and baby couplets, maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
• Conduct newborn testing including CCHD, metabolic screening, bilirubin, and hearing screening.
• Participate in call shifts as required, with expectations for weekend work every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and CEFM or AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications.
• Previous experience in Labor and Delivery and nursery settings is required.
• C-Section experience is preferred.
