Schedule includes a mix of weeknights (approximately 1500-0700) and weekends (0700-0700), requiring call for 7 out of 14 days, typically 3 days one week and 4 the next, including every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced acute care environment. Responsibilities include assisting with various interventional procedures, monitoring patient sedation, and managing critical care situations. The nurse will utilize the Meditech charting system and maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional procedures in the radiology department.
• Monitor and manage patient sedation during procedures.
• Administer emergency medications and blood products as necessary.
• Use Meditech for charting patient information and care provided.
• Participate in patient safety and infection prevention protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and cardioversion preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS certification required.
• Current nursing license in the state of practice, compact license accepted.
