Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

Shifts will consist of 4 ten-hour days (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM) or 3 twelve-hour days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), with rotating weekend call and on-call requirements for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse in Vascular Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing, with a focus on moderate sedation. The position requires the ability to float between two building locations downtown, which are a short walk apart, depending on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Vascular Interventional Radiology unit.
• Monitor and manage patients undergoing interventional procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support services.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; not provided by the facility.
