This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week with a 36-hour guarantee. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process while working collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team. This role involves assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, making appropriate interventions, and evaluating patient responses to care. It is essential to assume personal responsibility for quality patient care and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Plan and implement nursing care tailored to patient and family needs.
• Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Ensure quality patient care and satisfaction while maintaining professional development.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a nursing role.
• Completion of at least one travel assignment.
• Primarily ICU experience; ability to float to CVICU is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS certification (copy required for submission).
• Current Michigan nursing license (license verification required through LARA and Nursys).
