This position requires a Night Shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Intensive Care Unit, providing care for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient status, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate action.

Required Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting with focus on trauma, surgical, and neurological patients.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license for the state of New York.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
