Night Shift, 19:00 - 07:00, 12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit will provide critical care to patients with severe health conditions. The unit has 12 beds and a staffing ratio of 2:1, 3:1, or 1:1 depending on patient acuity. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) utilizing Meditech is essential. The unit equipped with advanced medical technologies such as Tablo, Belmont, Baxter Pumps, Codman EVDs, and the Hillrom Call System will enhance patient care and communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care needs in the ICU setting.
• Perform procedures including EVDs, sled, central lines, para/thoracentesis, and lumbar drains.
• Utilize therapeutic hypothermia (TTM) protocols as necessary.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to implement care plans and document progress.

Required Experience

• Must have a valid RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Prior ICU experience is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS, BLS certifications are required.
• PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications are preferred.
