ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit (Night Shift) in Elmira, New York.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed hours of 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 20-bed unit that requires dedicated nursing professionals to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. Nurses will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to chart and implement care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes
• Administer medications and document patient responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance

Required Experience

Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and have experience in an Intensive Care Unit environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license in New York
• Current certifications as required by the ICU, including BLS and ACLS
