ICU Registered Nurse - Trauma, Surgical, and Neurological

Shift: 7A - 7:30P
Job Description
This is a 13-week contract position for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse specializing in trauma, surgical, and neurological care. Candidates must possess Epic experience and previous travel nursing experience. As a crucial member of the healthcare team, you will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients across trauma, surgical, and neurological units.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine and implement optimal patient care strategies.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have at least 2 years of ICU staff experience, particularly with trauma, surgical, and neurological patients.
- Experience in a Trauma Level One facility is required.
- Current RN license (must adhere to state requirements).
- Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
