ICU/Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour hours (19:00 - 07:30), with required weekend coverage.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU/Tele Registered Nurse to join our Resource Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting and will be adept at floating within various ICU and Telemetry units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and ongoing assessment needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Utilize critical thinking and clinical skills to support patient care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of care standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience in managing ventilated patients and monitoring for dysrhythmias preferred.
• Cerner charting experience is preferred.
