This position requires 12-hour night shifts, working Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Job Description

The Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) will work at McClure Miller Respite House providing compassionate care to patients and their families during end-of-life stages. Responsibilities include complex symptom management, medication management, and participation in goals of care discussions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive symptom assessment and management.
• Administer medications via various routes (IV, subcutaneous, oral, sublingual, rectal).
• Engage in goals of care discussions with patients and families.
• Document patient information in a narrative-heavy EMR system, requiring excellent typing skills.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of prior hospice experience is required.
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• AHA BLS certification is required.
• CHPN certification is preferred.
