Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with an opportunity for self-scheduling. The guaranteed hours are 36 per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, utilizing the Medhost-EDIS electronic medical record system. The unit features 14 beds and operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, emphasizing efficiency and effective patient management in a Level IV Trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform assessments and develop care plans for patients.
• Utilize Medhost-EDIS for documentation and patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during treatments.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department.
• Experience working in a Level IV Trauma Center.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
