ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Reidsville, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and two out of four holidays.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department, handling a diverse patient population that includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team, utilizing telemedicine capabilities and engaging with various clinical support services as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Manage arterial lines, central lines, and other critical equipment.
• Administer blood products and manage patients requiring BiPAP/CPAP support.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and perform procedural sedation monitoring.
• Interpret EKG results and arterial blood gases.
• Assist in the care and management of patients with traumatic injuries, strokes, and complex medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting.
• Experience with STEMI and stroke certified facilities preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• TNCC certification is preferred.
