This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, with a start window between 6:45 PM and 7:15 PM. No call or block scheduling.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 1:5. This position utilizes MedHost as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Manage patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or similar setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
