Night shift, 12 hours per shift (19:00-07:00), 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Care Center will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced level 1 trauma facility. The role requires a well-rounded experience in both adult and pediatric patient care. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment and care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of condition.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of well-rounded experience in adult and pediatric emergency care.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred.
