ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Night Shift) in Cypress, Texas.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift: 19:00-07:00, 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Rotates weekends, no on-call required.

Job Description

The Emergency Department at HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress offers care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on acute patient needs. The unit features 19 beds, servicing a diverse patient population. The team comprises experienced staff trained to handle critical situations, utilizing advanced medical technology, including Philips equipment and Meditech EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct triage assessments and manage patient flow.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform essential procedures including tPA administration and CPR.
• Assist in the management of conditions such as STEMI care and laceration repair.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
