ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Psych ED (Night Shift) in Burlington, North Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours per week (Night Shift) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with occasional shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed.

Job Description

This role will primarily focus on providing care in the Psych ED unit. The candidate will work with special care populations including those experiencing behavioral health issues, cancer, sepsis, and medical emergencies. Cares will encompass patients of all ages, and experiences with STEMI and stroke facilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Psych ED unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and electronic documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform necessary procedures including BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and central line management.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience in emergency department or relevant specialty units.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications are required.
