ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Rotating Shifts) in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

48 hours per week, rotating day, evening, and night shifts, with weekend and holiday floating requirements.

Job Description

This position is located in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED) that manages over 100,000 visits annually and is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, you will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarded patients.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients in a high-pressure emergency environment.
• Assist with boarded patients as needed.
• Provide care and support for a diverse patient demographic.

Required Experience

• Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Previous travel experience in an Emergency Department is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN License in New York.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
