Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12-Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document clinical findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide support to patients and families during critical situations.
• Float to meet the needs of the facility and department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (CPI and TNCC preferred).
• Previous experience with Epic charting system required.
