Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, providing critical care to a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. This unit is well-equipped with advanced technology and procedures, tackling cases such as strokes, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarctions, cardiac arrests, and respiratory failures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to all assigned patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun.
• Provide services to patients including SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) care.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
• Participate in floating to other units as required.

Required Experience

• Must have 2+ years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Previous pediatric experience is highly preferred.
• Documented travel experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications are required, and must be current and in-hand at the time of submission.
• Valid NY RN license with an active NURSYS verification report.
• Driver's license with an address that matches demographics.
