Job Description

Join a dedicated team at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. In this role, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency department that handles over 15,000 patient visits annually. Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and emergencies.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS personnel, and inpatient teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Respond to multiple patient needs and adapt to changing clinical situations while maintaining high-quality care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Required Experience

• Current Vermont RN License or Compact Multi-State RN License.
• Minimum of three years of Emergency Department RN experience.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
